River325 - Concrete Junglist [onmp117]

River325 is the alias in which Jordan Saunders is under when he releases music in the genre of Jungle. Being born in London he got a sense of early underground vibes and later moved to the capital of the North West, Manchester.



Here he began producing music 2 years ago with influences from the current popular dance scene of the early 00’s. He later discovered the early 90’s pioneers of electronica; these include the music of Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and more.



This lead on to the realms of more hardcore IDM (borderline breakcore) of artists such as Autechre, Venetian snares, Kid606 and Shitmat. He took a step back and took the core out of his listening patterns and discovered the woofer rattling, rapid percussive sounds of Jungle.



Jordan Saunders realised the Jungle scene was the place for him. With just the amen break in one hand and 90’s keyboard in the other, he was ready to disembark into the jungle.
