AMC reinterprets the British 1960s cult classic of the same name in a miniseries format. The miniseries stars Jim Caviezel as "Six" and the legendary Ian McKellen as "Number Two." Six believes that he was a security analyst who resigned from his position, and finds himself trapped in a community known only as "the Village", located in a desert seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Six vows to escape, but must determine if his memories are his real life, or simply the delusions of a deluded man.

Season 1, Episode 1 – Arrival/Harmony

A man awakes in an isolated desert community called the Village with no idea of how he came there. He is designated "Six" and the Villager's administrator, Two, attempts to assimilate him into the community. Later, Six discovers that his brother is in the Village but isn't sure who he really is. Meanwhile, Two tries to deal with his son's growing sense of rebellion.

Season 1, Episode 2 – Anvil/Darling

Six agrees to help Two by spying on his fellow Villagers. Meanwhile, 11-12's secret is revealed and 313 learns to fear her gift. Later, Six meets a woman from his past while 147 endures family tragedy, and a natural disaster strikes the Village.
